ParksGO is build around open API's and open source technology. Using a back end built on asp. The ParksGO engine supplies an XML stream which is interpreted by client-side scripting on the client sites to display and map information of their area.

The administration of a ParksGO account is handled through custom designed input forms that allow you to add, update, or delete parks, recreation and cultural facilities with very little effort. This is all supported by a fully scalable database.

The ParksGO system lets you manage information including the characteristics of your parks, recreation and cultural facilities or any other point of interest within a community.
example features include; Location, Descriptions, Facilities, Ammenities, Photos & Accompanying Documents (e.g. pamphlets or maps).

Users of the Parksgo system can search for parks, recreation and cultural facilities based on the characteristics entered above plus; Activities, Facilities, Park Type, Point of Interest or Browse the interactive map
